 I always thought you had to have a daughter in order to have a little fun dressing your kid every day. Turns out that isn't true! Boys can be just as fun to accessorize, and well, who cares if other moms at the park think you are weird. I love when my boys get a little funky with their clothes! Looks like little Brinley is going to be an eccentric dresser (one can only hope!).

So if you can even get past my cute son (and his cheeks) and look at my outfit you may realize that, YES, I am wearing velvet in the summer. It happens. These shorts are beyond comfort. Also they are a color that is not really in my wardrobe. The waist band of them is super cute too ( I should be a better blogger and show you but I am not.) And can we all just ignore my un-washed hair? thanks. Anyways, lets celebrate 90 degrees and velvet!

ps isn't my parents' little playhouse (complete with rose bushes) completely, positively, absolutely something straight out of dreamland?! My mom has a lovely yard.

Spring has yet to show its face here in MN. We are not about to let that hold us down, it is nearing the end of April for Pete's sake! We are bringing spring into our lives by pops of color lately, just holding out hope that summer will, in fact, shine upon us.

Anyhow... I love a good restaurant T-shirt (malt shops tees are even better) so this particular one is from a rib place in Chicago that my dad LOVES. We were there long ago and this started my little random food shirt collection:)

We are moms- so sue us. It is true that over half of the time I have to crop my boys out of my self imposed photo shoots. Isn't that the beauty of wearing more than one hat at a time?! In fact, in some instances {like this} my little B even fits perfectly in. Looks like it was planned, huh? Big brother R on the other hand was cropped due to his clashing pajamas...
