Yep, this week went exactly how we thought it would. Lot's of shopping, laughing and our kids looked better than us. Typical. Oddly, when we dressed for the day our outfits seemed to always work well together! We can't figure out how bloggers take so many photos, we had best intentions of taking more candid pics throughout the day but we always got too busy. I guess that is why they all convince their boyfriends to be the photographer. However, we did manage to try and get some shots together, but due to our awkward posing we laughed more than we "seduced" the camera. It is just proof that we are still silly girls at heart! Oh hey don't you casually throw your arm on your friend's back? I knoooow ya do!

The Chill of fall is officially here. Since everything is brown and dead I thought that I would liven things up with some patterns and color! YES, COLOR! I guess it is a new thing I am trying. Fall also means we are back in our element LAYERS! Hooray! My clothes always look better piled on top of each other. Anyways disregard that I look scary and my little summer tan has quickly gone away. But hey I am back to blonde, my swedish heritage really suits me nice, dontchya think?! The cat eyes really aren't my thing but I really want to be able to work it... so I will keep on tryin.

It is easy to want everything in site when you are looking at fall fashion editorials. We know that is unrealistic on a budget. So we have put together a few affordable MUST HAVES that can work their way into your wardrobe with ease and purpose. Try to stick with the classics when you are scared to invest your money in new pieces. Clean lines and basic colors are always in style.

Must Haves:
Skinny Corduroys
Pencil Skirt
Classic Button Down
Small Shoulder Bag
Black Pumps
Statement Necklace
Colored Belt

**These are just to inspire you, we feel you can find these pieces for cheaper or even at vintage/ thrift stores.

Still in love with wearing printed pants!  I was seriously hovering over the Novella Royale website a couple times when she posted new bells so that I would get the pair I wanted since they are one of a kind. This pair is my absolute FAVORITE! They have already suffered a little bit of trauma. They are made from vintage fabric so they are somewhat fragile, and well I have 2 little boys who like to tackle me. Needless to say they will not be worn around the house lounging any longer. But they did survive our little trip to the beach. Thank the Lord for this last little bit of nice weather, not quite sure how I am going to transition my bells into the winter yet. Anyways since we were going to the beach I kept with a simple and clean look no accessories, no fuss.

Anyways my 4 year old can't take a normal picture these days so I take what I can get- and lets be honest it is way more fun to have wacky photos!
