Don't let the jacket fool you, I do NOT know how to ride a horse properly. However, Liz, kind of does! It was the braid that made you think I knew what I was doing wasn't it? Yeah that touch of sophistication sometimes fools my husband, too. Anyways, this jacket somehow reminds me of the Beatles. My mom picked it out for me, she has this funny way of wanting me to have clothes that she really loves. Love that our mom's still got our backs even when we are grown!

I have come to find that I really rotate the same few pieces around and wear them in different ways. So I have decided it is time to invest in quality clothes and quit stocking up on cheap things I only wear once.  I am all about classic fit lately. Those types of pieces make sense in the long run. This concept is new to me - check back in a few months weeks days and see if it is still working!

Went to California. Shopped a little and relaxed a lot. I had a short moment when I wanted to learn to surf... that is until my toes touched the frigid sea. I read some books listened to some music and tuned into my inner hippie. Enjoyed the wackos in hollywood and turned into a tourist for a brief moment. Met up with old friends and even made a few. I loved the raw view of the state and ocean and the colors that the sky cast upon them, it made me dream and wonder. Thought about staying there forever,
but I missed my kids too much so I came home!

Casual and comfortable of course because Italians like to eat many courses and desserts on holidays.

Packing for a trip to CA and I was inspired by my wardrobe choices. It seems that I stick to black and white... t shirts and sweaters and denim. I find that they can all be interchangeable which makes for functional when traveling. It is not surprise that my wardrobe lacks color. I find I stick with black or white because it makes things timeless. Color seems to make it easy to identify when items were purchased! I do have a few prints that have color, but I doubt I will even wear them!

In this mood board I love the old fashioned look that the black and white tutus have. The timeless peter pan color in the 2nd photo. Of course, none of our montages would be complete without the Olsens. Be inspired and Happy New Year!
